Fees and tax credit

Most band costs can be paid with money you get back on your Arizona taxes. Here is how, in four minutes.

Marching Fair Share fee

Show design, instruction, equipment. Eligible for tax credit.

Pay it with a tax credit

Arizona gives back every dollar you give to a public school extracurricular activity, up to $400 for joint filers and $200 for single filers. Grandparents, aunts, and friends can give too, and anything over your fees carries forward.

  1. Open the CUSD online portal.
  2. Choose Hamilton HS, then Band as the activity. Add your student's name.
  3. Email the receipt to Mr. Werner and Mr. Bullock so your student gets credit.
  4. Claim it on your state return. School CTDS code: 070280223.
